It’s understandable if you’re a little wary of Sin City’s Coyote Ugly. The movie was full of people dancing on bars, people being rowdy, people having a blast. How can the real-life bar possibly be so full of life?
Coyote Ugly (the movie) was actually based on Coyote Ugly (the bar), located in New York so the format has already been perfected and Vegas is great at adopting ideas to make it our own.
The bar is located inside New York-New York (perfect!), and is everything you would expect after seeing the movie. It’s actually full of less stuff than a normal bar.
There are no frilly, fancy cocktails so if you’re thirsty do a shot or drink a beer. You’ll have to pick a song on the jukebox since there are no fancy big-named DJS. It’s a bare bones, plain interior with flags and bumper stickers, no high-dollar interior design. There’s not a lot of places to sit, just a stand around and drink kind of place.
Bars need bartenders but Coyote Ugly takes it a step further with sexy female “Coyotes” dancing on the bar and don’t be surprised if your girlfriend joins them. If you’re in Vegas and want to stop by for a drink, join in the fun and get ready for a great time.
