The art of Ditching is something you learn at a young age and you have been working on this activity nearly your entire life.
As an adult you have to pick your ditching activities wisely.
When you see what Ditch Fridays at the Palms is all about you’ll know that you have found the perfect reason to take the afternoon off. The weekend starts early in Vegas with a whole bunch of party people who have taken casual Friday to a new level.
At Ditch Fridays you can jump into the main pool or just lounge around. Here you can dance the day away while listening to beats from DJs like DJ Jazzy Jeff spinning at the adjacent DJ booth.
There are 27 cabanas that surround this pool. Some are “caves,” which are cutouts that sit below the upper area and come complete with lounge-style seating, misters, and flat-screen TVs. The upper level is dotted with some of the most different cabanas to be found in Vegas. These are candle looking cabanas offer views of the entire main pool area and resemble a tent with an extremely high roof.
You can grab a lounge chair to plop yourself in the six-inch deep water surrounding the pool and help keep cool on those sweltering Vegas summer days. These chairs are free but you’re going to have to come early if you want them .
There is another pool close to the entrance of the pool club that tends to be more low key and less crowded. You can still hear the DJ from here and and if you want you can play in a round of beach volleyball.
You can actually get free beer here if you like to drink Miller Lite so be sure and get seen by one of the hot looking Miller Lite Girls.
Ditch Friday’s is the perfect start to a pool party blast that can continue with Wet Republic Saturday and Rehab Sunday.
