The Foundation Room inside Mandalay Bay looks like a classic lounge with stylish furnishings and luxurious undertones. However the sight of hot young bodies and the resonating sounds of electronic and hip-hop music lets you know that this is one hot venue to be in.
The main room has a mixture of sofas and chairs spread around wood coffee tables. The bar lines the left side of the room with a walkway which doubles as the dance floor for those who get inspired by the pumping music. Private rooms for those interested are just around the corner to the right, each with their own ambiance and amenities.
Recently a members only club the policy has changed in Vegas and Foundation Room’s passion for private rooms has remained the same.
The view from the top though is what sets Foundation Room apart from many other Las Vegas nightclubs. Mandalay Bay sits at the southern tip of the Las Vegas Strip and the outdoor patio provides unmatched views of one of the most famous skylines in the world. From here you can literally see from one end of the Strip to the next and the patio gives you an unobstructed vision of the Las Vegas skyline.
Here there is additional seating and guests can stand along the edge to take in the view. A second DJ booth sits to the far left of the patio where there is a small area for guests to congregate with a different genre of music is usually being played.
The Foundation Room is close to the Mix ultralounge in The Hotel, a sister property to Mandalay Bay. Both are excellent nightlife choices for a stay in the southern part of the strip.
